With the help of volunteers we have been able to complete many important projects, from planting thousands of trees in the winter to identifying hundreds of riverflies in the summer. All this essential conservation work wouldn’t be possible without the help and support of our committed volunteers.
From the River Falloch in the north to the mouth of the Leven in the south – our catchment encapsulates a variety of river ecosystems. Theserivers support a wide range of wildlife from the iconic but endangered Atlantic salmon, summer visitors such as ospreys, and more recently, the addition of a long lost native species – the beavers. Rivers are an essential resource for us and many other species. However, rivers are facing threats from pollution, climate change and stress from human activity. They need our help! So come and get involved in our conservation projects to improve our rivers and their surrounding habitat and leave these incredible parts of the world better than how we found them.
